Installaing a water softener involves shutting off the main water, at or near point-of-entry cut the main water pipe where the softener will connect, measure correctly allowing space for the bypass valve and fittings. Use pressure reducer if water pressure >5Bar.

Connect the bypass valve to the cut pipe, this allows future service/bypass should it be needed.

Attach the Inlet and Outlet Ports of the softener to the bypass valve using PureFlo SS flexi, ensuring correct flow direction (inlet to inlet, outlet to outlet).

Attach the drain hose to the unit’s drain valve and run it to a suitable drain (like a utility sink or floor drain) with a minimum 20mm air gap to prevent backflow.

Run the overflow hose similar to drain hose of the unit’s drain valve and run it to a suitable drain (like a utility sink or floor drain), ensuring it doesn’t freeze.

Add salt up to 80% don’t overfill, then slowly restoring water to check for leaks before the initial startup and programming.
